The SOS PRODEHESA MONTADO project promotes coordination and planning of activities for 2026

Today, 28 January 2026, the SOS PRODEHESA MONTADO project consortium held an online coordination meeting focused on strengthening joint work between the participating entities and defining the main lines of action for 2026.

During the meeting, progress was made in planning a face-to-face coordination meeting, currently in the definition phase, which will intensify collaboration between partners and enhance the dissemination and transfer of project results.

One of the main themes of the meeting was the monitoring of the SIPAM, addressing its different dimensions: food security and livelihoods, agrobiodiversity, local and traditional knowledge, cultural and organisational systems, and the dehesa landscape. In this context, the importance of adapting technical content to formats that are understandable and useful for end users was highlighted, as well as improving internal coordination to communicate activities further in advance.

Work was also done on communication and results exploitation strategies, with special attention to the development of technical data sheets and thematic brochures and the identification of synergies between the different project results.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue strengthening cooperation between the project entities, with the aim of maximising the impact of SOS PRODEHESA MONTADO on the conservation, sustainable management and enhancement of the dehesa and montado.
