APORMOR, the Association of Rural Producers of the Montemor-o-Novo Region, joins the SOS ProDehesa Montado project as a key partner, bringing its extensive experience in the agricultural sector, with a special focus on cattle and sheep farming.
This association is deeply linked to the dehesa system, working on the valorisation of products derived from the agro-livestock sector. In addition, its work includes the identification of key competencies in order to design training programmes that respond to the specific needs of rural professionals.
APORMOR also plays an essential role in the dissemination of good practices and knowledge transfer, facilitating the results of the project to reach the rural community. Its direct contact with cork oak producers reinforces its capacity to integrate and communicate innovative solutions that favour the sustainability and resilience of the dehesa-montado.
With its active participation, APORMOR contributes to strengthening the connection between technical knowledge and local practices, ensuring the success of the project’s objectives.
